About

No spin.
No consultant speak.
No strategy deck that falls apart as soon as the project ends.

We work as an extension of your team. We co-design strategyso the work meets your needs — and uncovers new opportunities. And we show unfinished work to ensure we’re aligned, and can deliver what you need, to get where you’re going.

At Storyworthy, we move at the speed of your team.

AI-Native. Expert-Led. Human-Centric. Customer-Focused.

The brand and marketing world has fundamentally shifted. AI is now the thread that’s woven through everything we do — from research to prototyping to developing growth engines that scale. We work with AI models, product suites and experts to deliver more value, and create more opportunities.

Every engagement is structured the same way: embedded, iterative, ship-shaped.

The form changes. Our mission doesn’t.

The Shift Behind the StudioOrigin & Thesis

Most consulting or agency partnerships start off strong, but break down in the same place. A team hires a consultancy or agency. The firm delivers a deck. It’s polished. And confident. But it misses the depth of the team’s actual problem — and misses their target entirely.

We get it. We’ve been there. We’ve worked at consultancies and agencies — but we’ve also worked in-house in marketing, communications, brand, design, product and operations. We know how it feels to hire a firm and end up further from the answer than when you started.

Storyworthy was built to break the pattern. Our bet? Brand, marketing, product, growth should be built the way modern teams build product — inside the company, by senior operators, with drafts shared early and decisions made in standups. We use the best AI models and tools in our tech stack, and can customize yours precisely to your growth goals. We don’t just deliver — we concept, design, measure and ship.

A hand-tinted letterpress illustration: four cyclists seen from behind ride in a tight single-file line up a rising road, holding one speed together.

That bet is now seven years and a portfolio of client companies long. Storyworthy has shipped brand systems and growth marketing engines for emerging tech startups, corporate incubators, business schools, venture capital funds, and global corporates that push their industries forward.

Our clients include Google Tech Equity Collective-backed Next Shift Learning, IDEO Ventures-backed Braintrust, Epic Games’ Unreal Engine, Twinmotion and MetaHuman teams (in partnership with Revenue Pulse), Walmart’s corporate incubator Store Nº8, innovation design firm People Rocket, Ojibwe-owned Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures and the UC San Diego Rady School of Management, among others.

We’re not just focused on the deliverable. We’re not just building a deck. We deliver the work itself. We solve the problems the deck wouldn’t catch. We uncover the openings the strategy missed. We make sure the wins ship far enough to matter.

Why Storyworthy

Stories Are How Brands Get Remembered — and How They Grow.

I founded Storyworthy Studios on one belief: that storytelling is the most durable way to build brand awareness and growth. Not spin. Not a campaign that runs its course. A story worth telling — carried through the content, the product and the brand experiences your customers actually meet. That is what “story-worthy” means to us, and it is the standard every piece of work has to clear.

It is also why we put the customer at the center of everything we make — from website design to content and social strategy — and why every engagement is measured against your growth goals, not our deliverables list.

What we believe

Most agencies sell certainty. We sell the work itself, in progress. Storyworthy’s job is to be useful inside your company, not to manage you from outside it.

  1. Brand and marketing should look more like engineering than advertising.

The fastest path to good work is to ship rough versions early, iterate in the open, and let the team that has to live with the work shape it.

  2. The people on the pitch are the people on the project.

No bait-and-switch to juniors. No layers between you and the work. If a senior operator pitched it, a senior operator runs it.

  3. The deliverable is the system, not the deck.

Every engagement leaves behind a brand system, a content engine, and a playbook the team can run without us. If we did our job, you don’t need us forever.

Operating Model

How the Studio Runs.

Our team runs as an embedded extension of yours. That means we sit in your standups, edit in your docs, and ship in your tools. The studio’s senior operators are the day-to-day team on your engagement — not account managers translating between you and the work.

Behind the senior operators sits a wider bench: collaborators we’ve worked with across multiple engagements, and an agentic system that handles the parts of the work where speed and consistency compound — research synthesis, content production, analytics, with human experts making strategic decisions at every turn. The shape is intentional: senior judgment at the front, leverage behind it. It’s how we hold real depth on more than one engagement at a time without thinning the work.

  • Inside your tools

We work inside your tech stack.

Slack, HubSpot, Marketo, SproutSocial, Google Tag Manager, Figma, Claude — whatever your team already uses. We don't ask you to learn ours.

  • Drafts, not reveals

Rough versions ship in week two.

Wrong answers shared early move the work forward faster than right answers shared late. You see drafts, not finished pieces in a vacuum.

  • Runnable on handoff

We set your team up for long-term success.

Every engagement ends with a system your team can operate without us — the brand, the voice guide, the content engine, the playbook.

Principals & Bench

The Team.

Sarah leads the studio. A bench of senior operators — and an agentic system behind them — works alongside.

    Sarah Aylward

    Founder & Chief Strategist

Sarah founded Storyworthy after leading brand and content inside the companies she now works alongside. As Content Director at Built In, she led three content teams across eight U.S. tech communities and tripled content product revenue in year one, helping secure the company’s Series B. Before that she spent five and a half years at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, moving from Marketing Manager for the school’s entrepreneurship and innovation programs to Assistant Director of Brand Communications, and she has worked on the agency and consultancy side as well. At Storyworthy she leads strategy and the engagement itself — in your standups, in your docs, shipping in your tools.

Off the clock she’s at the park with her dog, slowly fixing up a 100-year-old house, attempting to grow a green thumb, or planning the next trip. Gardening advice and travel tips welcome.
